My name is Patty Gittins and I'm trying to raise money to help my almost 39-year-old daughter, who had a recent double mastectomy due to breast cancer. She will be starting chemotherapy this week and eventually will be getting radiation which was decided upon because she has the BRCA2 gene. Since college, she has been a sign language interpreter for children in our local schools for many years. They only survive on her husband's income in the summer since school is closed. She has 2 boys, a toddler and a 5-year-old.

This summer, she and her husband had to drive back and forth to Wausau, an hour away, for her surgery and for most of her many appointments. During these times, her husband loses income, since he has to take off work that day and a lot of the times, their kids went to daycare, which is a financial burden. She will need to take many days off of work, when school starts for her treatments, and will most likely be too sick to work or take care of her toddler, so he would need to go to daycare. All donations will go toward, lost wages, daycare, medical bills, gas, food, and anything she needs to purchase because of her treatments. Anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated.
