We're reaching out to support our beautiful friend (Athena), a true TSW warrior, who is bravely fighting through two major health battles—Breast Implant Illness (BII) and Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW).

She got breast implants at just 19 years old, but in recent years has been suffering from painful and debilitating symptoms that align with Breast Implant Illness—chronic fatigue, joint pain, inflammation, and more. After thorough research and personal reflection, she’s made the difficult but empowering decision to have them removed for the sake of her long-term health.

On top of that, she is also navigating Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW), a severe skin condition that occurs after prolonged use of topical steroid creams. TSW can cause burning, flaking, redness, and extreme discomfort. It’s physically and emotionally draining, and there's no quick fix—only time, healing, and an immense amount of daily care.

Despite these challenges, she works tirelessly, using her income not only for rent and food but also for the expensive supplements, skin care, and healing protocols that TSW recovery demands. She never complains—she fights. She shows up. She pushes through.

Unfortunately, the cost of explant surgery is much higher than what she paid for the implants at age 19, and it’s more than she can manage alone right now.
