Support Hector's Road to Recovery

Dear Friends and Family,

I hope this message finds you well. Today, I reach out to you with a heavy heart to share a distressing incident involving our tio Hector, a loving husband, father, son, brother, and uncle, who is an important part of our tight-knit family.

On the evening of December 12th at 6 PM, Hector was involved in a devastating head-on collision while riding his 4-wheeler. The impact was so severe that he was propelled over the car in front of him, resulting in a severe head injury. He was rushed to the nearest hospital, where, unfortunately, the severity of his condition surpassed their ability to provide the necessary care. As a result, Hector has been transported to a hospital in nearby Torreon, Chihuahua, where expert medical attention is available.

Hector is not only a loving husband and devoted "girl dad" to his two beautiful daughters, Maylin (9) and Alexa (5), but also a cherished son, brother, and uncle. We come from a close-knit family where love and support are the cornerstones of our bond. As Hector's niece and god-daughter, I had the privilege of growing up alongside him in the same house in Chicago for most of my life.

As of now, Hector is in a critical condition and has been placed in an induced coma due to swelling in his head. Despite the medical team's efforts, there hasn't been significant improvement. They have taken him off respiratory support, and we are anxiously awaiting the next 24 hours to see if he can breathe on his own. Plans are in place to move him to a different hospital for further care, but an immediate challenge we face is the substantial cost involved – $14,000.

In this urgent time of need, we are reaching out to our family members and friends, seeking your support to raise the funds required to facilitate Hector's transfer and ongoing medical care. Every contribution, regardless of its size, will make a meaningful difference in his journey to recovery.

It's important to note that in Mexico, daily payments are required for medical treatment, and without these, treatment may be discontinued.

Your compassion and generosity can be a lifeline for Hector and our family during this challenging time. Let us come together to support him on his road to recovery.

Thank you for your kindness, thoughts, and prayers.

Sincerely,
The Saenz family and their loved ones
