Grucheska is the heart of our family and a beacon of positivity in her community. She has always put others first, lighting up every room with her humor and warmth, and dedicating countless hours to supporting local charities. Even though our family is spread far apart, Grucheska keeps us connected, informed, and supported. Her love and energy inspire hope for our future and for the many families she touches every day.
Recently, Grucheska was diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer, with a tumor that requires immediate and aggressive treatment. She has just started her first round of chemotherapy, with a total of 30 sessio s of chemotherapy planned. After completing chemotherapy, she is expected undergo 30 sessions of radiation. Following these treatments, Brachytherapy will begin to deliver as much direct radiation to the tumor source as possible for a more successful outcome. Without insurance, every medical expense falls on her and our family. We are doing everything we can to cover the costs, but the financial burden is overwhelming. In addition to medical bills, we are also struggling with travel expenses, lost income from missed work, and daily living costs as we support her through treatment.
Grucheska’s husband, Jose Camacho, and their three children—Julio Cesar, Jose Jonas, and Kervin de Jesus—are by her side, along with her brothers, sisters, and aunts. The family is also caring for another aunt, Alba, who is facing her own health challenges. Together, we are providing emotional support, handling house duties, organizing local fundraisers, and doing everything possible to help Grucheska continue her service to the community. Any support you can offer will help ease the financial strain and allow Grucheska to focus on her fight against cancer. Your generosity will make a real difference for her and our entire family.
