Hi there,

Our mum was hit by a car when walking home in the early hours just after New Years. She is currently on life support in the ICU. She is being treated for severe injuries.

Mum will have a long road ahead of her. We are not fully sure what she will require as we are still in the early days. However we know she will need plenty of support including medical visits, physical therapy, required support from family at home, among other things that we are unsure of at the moment.

As those around her know, she is a strong, kind and incredibly generous person. She cares strongly for those around her, and puts the needs of others before her own. Though we aren’t able to communicate with her yet, we know she will be itching to get back to her usual routine at the gym, get back to work with her daycare kids, and at home with Finny.

We hope you will be able to contribute to her recovery journey. We anticipate that it will be a few months before she’s completely back on her feet. We appreciate any positive thoughts or prayers, and are grateful for all the support we have received so far.
