Support for Whitney & Baby Gavin
Spende geschützt
Whitney and her miracle baby Gavin have been on an uphill battle since the beginning of her pregnancy. While overcoming various hurdles, Whitney has remained optimistic and strong. Gavin was born 10 weeks early by emergency C-section. Whitney is experiencing complications from the surgical birth and is receiving experimental treatment to ease her pain and increase her mobility so that she is able to spend more time with Gavin. Both Whitney and baby have a lengthy journey to reach optimal health before being released from the hospital. We are reaching out to friends and family to help Whitney and Gavin in lieu of a baby shower since their arrival home is undetermined.
Baby Gavin will remain in Victoria General NICU after Whitney has healed and is discharged. At this point, we don’t know how long he will need to stay in the NICU. However, preemie discharge is generally at the baby’s full-term due date (December 31st). Once home, Gavin will continue to face challenges in adjusting to life outside of the hospital.
Funds raised will go towards medical and travel expenses, along with potential costs for accommodation near the hospital once Whitney is discharged.
Please help us to support Whitney and her family during this challenging time.
