Support for the Gombold Family
Spende geschützt
Brad Gombold is not only our neighbor, he is our friend. In the years since he has been in our neighborhood, he has shown over and over that he is one of the nicest guys you could meet. Always kind and smiling, he’s the kind of person who looks you in the eye and asks questions about your life in a way that tells you he really cares about you. He is the kind of person who takes the time to get to know your kids, and he would help a neighbor move in a heartbeat. He is devoted to his wife, Rhonda, and his 12-year old son, Gordy. He shows his love for them in ways big and small – like his annual labor of building an elaborate skating rink in his backyard to indulge his son's passion for hockey. He also helps his community by volunteering for things like coaching his son's hockey team.
Like us, you are devastated to know that Brad is now in a hospital room on a ventilator after suffering severe brain damage from a series of mini-strokes at the young age of 52. That is why his friends and neighbors are starting this GoFundMe campaign to support his family with the very substantial expenses this situation will entail. The Gombolds have meant so much to all of us, so please consider donating to help support Brad and his family during this difficult time. Even if you don't know Brad, please consider donating knowing that people like Brad, who give so much to the world around them, deserve community-wide support in a time of need.
As people of deep faith, we know that Brad and his family also would appreciate it if you would keep them in your daily prayers. They also ask that you not post this campaign on social media at this time.
