On December 20th 2025, the Freund family and Taimi Vinnedge suffered the sudden and heartbreaking loss of Ross Freund Sr. Ross was a proud and loving father who lived for his family. He was immensely proud of his boys, Ross and Luke. There is no doubt family was his world, and he poured his heart into every moment spent with his children and those he loved. He was a man with a truly kind soul and an enormous heart.

While his sons navigate the heavy logistical and emotional steps of losing their father so unexpectedly, they are also facing some financial complications in this situation. While still hoping to help Ross’s soulmate, Taimi. To Ross, Taimi was everything; to us, she is like family. Beyond the grief of losing her partner, Taimi is now facing the loss of her home, transportation, and everyday life.

We have received so much love and emotional support, and it means the world to us. If you are able, we ask for your help in covering funeral expenses and a Celebration of Life. Now more then ever we could use help covering the funeral expenses. With newly discovered complications, that orignally were what we were hoping would be covering some of the expenses, has changed, and now the boys will be covering all expenses out of their pockets. With that, we have set a smaller, and incremental goal in hopes it will be more achievable. If there are any remaining funds, after the funeral home costs and the cost of a Celebration of Life. The remaining funds will go to Taimi to help her navigate this transition and begin to rebuild her life.

Celebration of Life

We have set a day and time for the celebration of life. There has been a Facebook event created with all information and an area where you are able to RSVP- we ask if you use Facebook to RSVP to help us plan on how much food is needed.

Anyone who wishes to come pay their respects, share memories of Ross throughout his life, or anyone wanting to just show their love and support are all more then welcome. The Facebook event can be found on Ross Freund's (&Fiancé Kim's), Luke Freund's (&Wife Sarah's), and Taimi Vinnedge's personal Facebook pages definitively. We ask people to also, please share the event. So everyone that was apart of Ross Sr.'s life is able to see it (please also inform anyone you may think would like to go for those that don't use facebook) Thank you.

"Ross Allen Freund Sr. Born March 15, 1970 and passed away December 20, 2025. A celebration of life will take place at the Stella Town Hall located at 2496 County Hwy C, Rhinelander WI. All friends and family welcome on Saturday, January 24th from 11 am till 2 PM. Lunch will be provided and we will share memories."
