Support for Survivor's Legal and Medical Bills

I unfortunately survived a shooting and I have lost EVERYTHING. My job, my home, my health insurance, my mental health, and my physical health and most importantly I lost the man I wanted to spend my life with. I would never EVER EVER EVER do anything like this if I weren’t at the breaking point. I had to spend $5000 on an attorney to represent me. This is money that I absolutely don’t have to spend. I put it on a credit card because I am in desperation. I’ve been treated horribly by those involved with this case and I NEED someone legally on my side and I don’t have that until now. I have peace of mind being represented but I have no idea how the hell I'm going to pay this back. Not to mention the beyond thousands in medical bills. I am currently uninsured and I’m living with a bullet lodged between my spine and my aorta, so if it shifts, I’m just out of luck. I realize it’s beyond horrible asking other people for financial help when I was the one shot and it IS my problem and I should handle it myself. But between the severe PTSD and Major Depressive Disorder with Severe Anxiety, and permanent severe nerve damage in my right hand and throughout my torso, it makes it difficult to find someone that would want to hire someone like me. I am trying though. Again, I’m so very sorry for even doing this but I don’t know where else to turn.
