I am starting this GoFundMe for my cousin's boyfriend, Stephen Ferguson, who was hit by a car while biking home from work at Cavanaugh's Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia, in the early morning hours of March 13, 2021. Steve suffered a spinal cord injury and has been in the ICU after a few surgeries to stabilize his spine. After discharge from Jefferson Hospital, doctors say the next move will be several weeks of inpatient spinal cord rehabilitation. All funds will go to his partner of 14 years, Andrea Festa, for medical expenses and equipment, relocation to a more suitable apartment, lost wages, future therapies.
