My nephew Steve Solberg has been struggling with crohn's disease since his diagnosis over a year ago. A trip to the ER and 9 day hospital stay determined that he needed to go to Mayo in Rochester for further testing. They scheduled surgery immediately and yesterday, January 17th was the big day.
Steven and Allison are a blended family of 6 and are expecting a baby girl in April.
Steven has been working two jobs to support his growing family up until his medical condition forced him to give one of them up. There is no way of knowing right now how long he will be unable to work. Allison has also had to take time from work so she can care for him. Donations will be used for household bills, hospital bills and travel expenses as they will be making multiple trips back to Mayo. Steven will also require a second surgery in 3-4 months.
Please keep Steven, Allison, Ashton, Charles, Nate, Brennan and yet to be named, baby Solberg in your thoughts and prayers . We are also true believers in positive vibes so please keep them coming as well Please know that no donation is too small and every penny will be accepted with thanks and grateful hearts.
