Support for St Ives life guard volunteers

As a town surrounded by beautiful coast line, the St Ives community and it’s many visitors, rely on the amazing work done by our team of dedicated lifeguards, who work hard to keep us safe whilst we enjoy our beautiful beaches. Like many services and organisations, due to COVID 19 restrictions, the provision of RNLI lifeguards has had to be suspended for the time being.
However, in the true community spirit that our wonderful little town of St Ives is blessed with, our local lifeguards, St Ives surf School and surf life saving club have come together to offer a purely voluntary, scaled down cover for Porthmeor beach, until normal RNLI cover can be resumed. 

This ‘Go fund me’ has been set up to support these brave individuals, who are giving their time and precious skills, voluntarily, whilst receiving no pay. Please feel free to donate, what you can spare, to support these amazing people, who continue to put themselves on the line, to keep us all safe.  Thank you
