Spende geschützt
Beloved friend, father, and husband, Bill Nadzam, suffered a stroke on August 14th, and on the eve of his release home from the hospital, suffered a second severe stroke requiring emergency surgery. Bill's continued care, including surgeries, requires his wife and family to be at his side. All funds are going directly to Sharon to maintain Bill's care, and her ability to stay by his side and advocate for his care.
From Their Children: Fifteen years ago, our mom Sharon met Bill. All we knew was that she was full of joy around him, that he was a steadfast Christian, and that we felt at peace in his presence. His children became our siblings, and from there, God had us blossom into a beautifully combined family. He took great pride in his work ethic, ham radio hobby but most importantly, being able to provide a stable home for all his children and beloved wife.
On the night of August 16, Bill collapsed and was escorted to Kaiser Santa Clara by an ambulance. He had a minor stroke while he and Sharon were in the middle of a move after an extreme rental increase. Despite this, his spirits were high and we were ready for him to be discharged the following morning.
The discharge phone call never came. Instead, on the morning of August 17th, Bill suffered a severe blood clot stroke out of nowhere. Doctors were baffled, and we as a family were on edge.
After the surgery, we found out he had a severe ischemic stroke. To be able to survive was a miracle in itself. But alas, the journey has just begun. He needs ongoing surgeries, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy. His wife had to take time off work to become a caregiver. Relentless in her determination to be able to provide them both, with the cost of medical bills, it is impossible.
We thank you for any amount you can donate. We have been taking it day by day, as the rock of our household has transformed into quicksand just overnight.
So we are kindly asking you to help us help Bill. The most humble man, most know him best as “the gentle giant.” We await a miracle, for our rock that we all would lean on, has crumbled but we are fierce enough to rebuild him to where he once was.
We thank you for any amount you can give to support our family in this unexpectant and turbulent time.
