Two weeks before his 24th birthday, Sam was involved in a fatal collision with a semi-truck. He had just dropped off his son, Yuji a 6 month old Shepsky puppy, with the dog sitter. The accident occurred as he made his way back to his family.

We are establishing and requesting your assistance in fundraising to cover his funeral and memorial expenses. Any remaining funds will be put towards a trust for his family’s educational expenses.

Sam’s selfless and positive energy always uplifted those around him. He met no stranger that he couldn’t make laugh even while navigating his own personal obstacles. He had been contracted through SpaceX to assist the IT and Inventory team. Sam financially supported his family, whenever possible, while pursuing a career in IT and analytic marketing.
