Tragic Automobile Accident – Supporting the Families of Stephen MacSween, Chris Crouter and Daryll Crouter
On the morning of September 3rd, our scaffolding community was shaken by the news of a devastating motor vehicle accident involving several of our own. This unexpected tragedy has deeply impacted many lives and brought heartbreak to those who know and work alongside these individuals.
Tragically, Stephen MacSween did not survive. He leaves behind his loving partner and their young daughter, who must now navigate life without him. Daryll Crouter and Chris Crouter both face a long road to recovery. All three men are part of our extended scaffolding family—dedicated tradespeople who share the same union, the same industry, and the same passion for building Canada’s future.
AlumaSafway and Skyway Canada have come together to create this campaign so our employees, the scaffolding community, and all who wish to help can stand alongside these families. Every donation, no matter the size, will bring much-needed support during this difficult time. If you are unable to give financially, simply sharing this campaign within your networks is another meaningful way to help.
Please also consider leaving a message of support with your contribution. Sometimes just reading the caring words of encouragement can provide comfort and strength to family members in pain.
In our work, we know that scaffolding is built on strength, support, and stability. Today, we extend that same strength and support to these families—as one community.
With gratitude,
Skyway Canada & AlumaSafway
