Support for Other NICU families

My birthday is this weekend May 11th but in lieu of gifts or well wishes I want to instead give to the families in the Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital Neonatal ICU where Xiomara has been since she was born on November 7, 2018. It is quite difficult to explain how grueling it is physically and psychologically to sit by your child's bedside as one uncertainty after another unfolds. The support of friends and family has been crucial as are the benefits that our education and success give us. This isn't necessarily the case for all the families here and we would like to give back by purchasing books, pacifiers, stuffed animals, swaddles and other little items that make the stay here more bearable for the families and babies alike.
