Support for Priest Samuel Birhanu

Priest Samuel's unjust termination exposes the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church's inconsistent policy regarding their clergy's participation in non-religious events and rallies.  This further highlights the need for the establishment of an Oromo Orthodox Church in which worshippers are not discriminated against and are not punished due to their cultural heritage. Priest Samuel has exhibited his devotion to the Orthodox faith by embarking on a mission to establish a Church where all worshippers are treated equally and accepted as they are.
