As many of you know, our dear friend, Nancy Ring, is facing some significant health challenges . For those of you who have not been informed, at the end of 2019, Nancy was diagnosed with a recurrence of an aggressive form of metastatic breast cancer. To combat the progression of the disease, she has been receiving both chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Like so many people who have been faced with cancer, the treatment can be as debilitating as the disease. Since early this year, Nancy has been unable to manage many of her own affairs. Initially, friends and family pitched in to assist as they could. Unfortunately, at this point, she requires assistance 24/7 which, like most of us, is not covered by her insurance. The cost of the at-home care is approximately $15,000 a month.
Nancy has been instrumental in so many of our lives. She has served as a mentor, counselor, guide, coach, teacher, role model...and the list goes on... but more than anything, Nancy has been a tried and true friend. In every capacity she has played in our lives, she always points us in the direction of being the best and brightest versions of ourselves.
We would ask for your support in whatever way you send love into the world (i.e. prayers, good thoughts, positive energy, etc.).
