Support for MFA Student Amidst UArts Closure

Hi family and friends. I come to you with devastating news about the abrupt closure of University of the Arts where I was attending to get my Masters of Fine arts in Dance. I have been greatly impacted by this closure not only because I need to find another school to continue my education but also because my housing and employment are directly connected to the University. With this closure I am out of a job and will soon be out of housing.

In addition to this my MFA program at UArts travels to France for the summer for a study abroad program. My flight was purchased back in March and housing was secured by our dean with a donor not affiliated with UArts. That being said our trip is still able to happen which has been wonderful news amidst all of this tragedy however, because I am no longer able to receive financial assistance (aid and scholarship) from the University I am left with no income and no money to support myself while I am abroad.

I am humbly asking for the generous help of my family and friends for support in relocation costs, travel expenses, transcript orders, transfer application fees, study abroad financial support and any other financial support that is effected by this closure. Thank you and I love you all.
