My father, Markham Thomas, faced many health challenges in his final years. After suffering a couple of strokes, he developed dementia, which made daily life increasingly difficult for him and our family. He spent time in and out of the hospital, and eventually needed the care and support of a care home. On December 10, 2025, he was placed in hospice, and sadly, he passed away early on Christmas Eve. This loss has been incredibly hard for his children, who are heartbroken to say goodbye.
As we navigate this difficult time, we are also facing financial challenges. The costs associated with his cremation are more than we can manage alone. We are reaching out to our community for help, knowing that even a small contribution can make a big difference. Your kindness and support will help us honor Markham’s memory and give him the respectful farewell he deserves.
We are deeply grateful for any support you can offer, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing our story. Thank you for being there for us and for helping our family through this tough time.
