Hello, my name is Cara Wilk (McNeal) and with the recent news and diagnoses we got for my mom, Kristen (Kris) McNeal, she wanted me to change the GoFundMe to not raise money for appointments and things but for her passing.

She has a very rare and aggressive type of thyroid cancer that has also spread to her lungs and is stage 4. My mother's choice is to not attempt any form of chemo or radiation as it will never put her in remission, just prolong the inevitable.

My mom is getting severely worse, very rapidly. She was admitted into the hospital again as of Thursday and has been on oxygen. Our entire family is devastated and unprepared for what is coming.

My mom has no life insurance or anything to take care of her cremation after she passes, and this is something we were not prepared for as she's only 49 years old.
