Support for Her Recovery After the Collision
$2,010 raised of
On June 8, 2026, our lives changed in an instant. My wife was involved in a devastating head-on collision on the Howey-in-the-Hills Bridge while on her way to work. The driver who struck her reportedly fell asleep at the wheel, causing a crash that changed our family’s lives forever. What started as a normal morning quickly became a life-altering tragedy.
As a result of the accident, she suffered several serious injuries. She underwent surgery after her foot was fractured in several places. In addition, both of her wrists were fractured in multiple locations, her hip was fractured in several places, and she suffered broken ribs. The physical pain and emotional trauma have been overwhelming, and her recovery will require extensive medical care, rehabilitation, and time away from work.
She is currently still hospitalized and recovering from her injuries. While we are thankful for the care she is receiving and the progress she has made so far, she still has a long road ahead. Her recovery will involve ongoing medical treatment, rehabilitation, and significant time away from work as she focuses on healing.
While we are incredibly grateful that she survived, we are now facing the financial challenges that come with such a serious accident. Medical bills, rehabilitation costs, lost income, transportation to and from appointments, and everyday household expenses are adding up quickly during this difficult time. Because the accident occurred while she was on her way to work, the impact on our family’s finances has been especially difficult.
We are asking for any support you can provide to help ease the financial burden and allow my wife to focus on what matters most—her recovery. No donation is too small, and if you are unable to contribute financially, sharing this fundraiser with your family, friends, and community would mean the world to us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation, share, and message of encouragement gives us strength as we face this journey together. ❤️
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18
