Support for Hakiwai Family

It is with a very heavy heart I need to share that our beloved Hakiwai family have lost one of their own. Pure evil presented itself when the boys were attacked while walking down their home street in Melbourne resulting in  Maaka being taken from our lives, Nate was able to fight through  and is thankfully still with us although in hospital in a stable but critical condition. 

Stirling and Karli are experiencing unimaginable pain as they grieve this terrible tragedy so please respect their privacy at this time. They will reach out to everyone when they are ready.

Nothing will ever replace this precious life that has been lost but one thing we can all do is assist financially, no matter how small the donation.

All money raised will go directly to Stirling and Karli. I have set a $15000 target initially, I am hoping we can far exceed this in order to take away all financial burden from the Hakiwai Family.

We have exceeded the second target! Thankyou all so much! Karli and Stirling are overwhelmed with the kindness and generosity of everyone including people who don’t even know them personally but are deeply affected by this tragedy. I have set a new target of 55k all funds will be going directly to the Hakiwai Family to cover NZ arrangements for Maaka, Care for Nate, loss of wages for the family during their time of grieving.
