It is with deep sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Frederick Kiprono, originally from Moiben, Kenya, and recently living in Shreveport, Louisiana. Frederick lost his life in a heartbreaking shooting incident while working as an Uber driver.

His family — including his brother

 William Songok (Kenya)his sister Everlyn Cheruto (Lexington, Kentucky), his cousins Martin Kipchirchir (Indiana)and Eli Kosgei (Midland, Texas) and his nieces Tashia, Olivia, and Sophia (Shreveport) are coming together during this painful moment to coordinate support and facilitate his send-off and burial back home in Kenya.

As a community that believes in standing with one another, especially in times of loss, we humbly call upon your prayers, solidarity, and financial support Any contribution  big or small will go a long way in easing the burden on the family as they prepare to lay Frederick to rest with dignity.
