Fund for Family in Dominica
Donation protected
We've just gotten the update that our dear family friends in Dominica are safe following the destruction from Hurricane Maria.
We are so thankful that they are safe, however, they've lost their entire livelihood. The little grocery shop they ran is completely gone- the building, the equipment, all of the inventory is just gone.
Small business owners know the tight margin that businesses operate on- so this loss is mentally and emotionally devestating and leaving them wondering how to rebuild.
We would love to give support, remind our friends who have suffered through these natural disasters that they are not alone, and provide this family with the resources to start rebuilding.
Our friends, Kwesi and Jo-Ann, are Zandi's brother and sister-in-law. They're warm, caring and are like an extended family, especially to our son Harry:).
Funds will go directly to the family to support purchasing supplies to rebuild their shop and covering inventory that was lost.
