Derick Pinheiro was more than just my best friend—he was my brother. We bonded over our love for motorcycles and the gym, and I loved his family as my own. His family means the world to me, and they are absolutely shattered by his sudden passing. Derick died in a motorcycle accident on June 13, 2026, near the intersection of Philips Highway and Wells Creek Parkway, in front of the Birch Island Veterinary Center. His loved ones are facing unimaginable grief and uncertainty.

As someone who cared deeply for Derick and his family, I want to do everything I can to help them through this difficult time.
