Support for de Zwart-Voormeij Family

This beautiful family needs our support and help. Our dear Tanya has been diagnosed with a rare type of breast cancer. She will require extensive surgery and the full array of cancer treatments. The family is absolutely devastated by Tanya’s news. It was only last year when her husband and young father Jim passed away, within three months, from another rare and aggressive cancer.

Still reeling from the recent loss of dear Jim, the family was just barely managing to get back on their feet again. There will now be a long list of extra expenses in addition to their usual cost-of-living-expenses.

I don’t have to tell you all what this next chapter in Tanya’s life is going to be like as we have all witnessed loved ones, friends, and community members go through life-changing disease, accidents, and loss.

There will be many ways that her circle of community can contribute and help. Having a solid foundation of financial resources will go a very long way during treatment this next year and beyond, as every part of Tanya’s body, mind, and spirit needs to be focussed on getting through treatment and healing. Her children Robin (23), Thomas (21), and Eva (18) are navigating jobs, university, and relationships, while still trying to process the recent, sudden loss of their father. They will especially need a solid foundation of support as well as resources.
