Support for Coach Jimmy L. Beane

Coach Jimmy appeared to be in excellent health. However, we were all saddened to learn that his health was declining. On Sunday, June 27th, he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at Baptist Medical Center. He has been very ill and suffered a multi-system failure.

Coach Jimmy has loved basketball his entire life and played basketball in high school and college. He trained many athletes and coached many teams throughout his career. In addition, he has always had a passion for community outreach and has positively impacted many youth, athletes, and other coaches.

Coach Jimmy loves his children, daughter, Ciera Green, and son, Jimmy Bean II, and has shared proud and loving stories about his family.

Coach Jimmy continues to show improvement but remains hospitalized. His treatment course, discharge plan, ongoing care is unknown at this time. He needs our prayers, emotional and financial support to assist with his obligations post-discharge. The funds will be utilized for his expenses while he is recovering from his illness.
