My nephew, Alex Hawthorne who turned 16 on March 27th unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, May 8th. Alex left behind his mother and step-father, Katy & Aaron Thompson, his father Jeremy Hawthorne and Jeremy's fiancé, Patricia Kelly, as well as his two younger siblings, Henry (9) and Sammy Thompson (7) who admire and look up to him. His family is left heart-broken, and grieving the loss of their son and brother. Alex also left behind grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, classmates, and friends. He is already greatly missed by many. Alex was a smart, sensitive, and humorous person. He had a bright future ahead of him. Alex had a passion for music. His favorite band was Green Day. In school, he was in the band and chess club. Alex enjoyed playing online games and DnD with friends. He looked forward to time with family, and hanging out with his younger siblings, and cousins. Alex never entered a room without making it brighter.

The unexpected loss of Alex has left his family with large medical bills, and funeral costs which all seem to add up so quickly.
