[UPDATE] I’m Sad to report Our Sweet Finny boy passed away at home by his dads side on February 23rd, Thank you for your donations please keep my brother and our family in your thoughts and prayers.

Finn, or as we call him—Finny, Twirly Tail, or Big Ears— or our favorite nickname Yoda! has become a huge part of our family. He started as a scared little pit bull in a shelter, where my brother rescued him while in college. From that moment, Finn found his guardian angel, and the two quickly became inseparable. Whether it was walks around FSU, countless car rides, or pup cup runs, Finn was living his best life and brought so much joy to everyone around him.

But this Christmas Eve, everything changed. Finn had a seizure while relaxing at home and had to be rushed to the vet. He was then transferred to a veterinary neurologist, where he was diagnosed with a brain tumor causing the seizures. Our lives were turned upside down in an instant. As a family of dog lovers, we didn't hesitate to do everything we could for Finn, including an MRI, CT scan, rounds of radiation, and countless medications and visits to the neurologist to make sure he was always getting the right care.

If you've ever had an animal that feels like family—who makes you laugh, cry, and is always there for a cuddle when you're down—you know exactly how we feel about our amazing Finny. While we don't know how much time he has, we're determined to make the best of every moment. Anything you can donate would mean the world to my brother, who would do absolutely anything to give Finn the best life possible.
