Who I Am I

My name is Kiley Benedetto, I am from the suburbs of IL, USA. I am a humanitarian advocate, a wife, and a mother of 4 children trying to make a difference. I’ve been in contact with these families through my Palestinian American friend that I went to highschool with Eman Abdelghani, she has been helping support these families over the last 2 years.

I am raising funds for two specific families in Gaza who are facing extreme hardship due to the ongoing crisis. These are people I am in direct communication with and who will receive the funds personally.

Jaber Abo Obaid – Caretaker of Many

Deir al-Balah, Central Gaza

Jaber is 25 years old and the sole provider for his parents and five siblings. He also cares deeply for children and others in his community. Jaber is currently undergoing treatment for Bell’s Palsy while grieving the loss of extended family. Despite the challenges, he continues to serve others selflessly.

Deir al-Balah

Sabreen (32) and Abdullah (38) are parents to twin girls (5) and a son (3). Their eldest son, Kenan, tragically died in the war from severe burns. They are still trying to survive while holding their family together through unbearable grief.

How the Funds Will Be Used

The money raised will go directly toward helping these families meet urgent needs such as food, clean water, medicine, clothing, and shelter. In the current humanitarian crisis, these essentials are critical for their survival and well-being.

How the Funds Will Be Delivered

Both families have active bank accounts. Once the funds are available, I will transfer them directly via wire from my Chase Bank account to their personal accounts in Gaza. This ensures the funds go straight to the families without intermediaries.
