UPDATE 4/30: We're over 80% of the way to meeting (hopefully exceeding!) our goal, and two rounds of distributions have gone out to Catherine and Dulce. (Cori, Kiimia, and Tina generously donated their shares back to their colleagues who are still waiting for unemployment.). Love donations have been pouring in - not only from school families - but also grandparents and friends new and old! It's so heartwarming to see so much generosity during these difficult times!
The funds are already making a difference for our teachers and support staff (see Catherine's updates below). Thank you SO MUCH, and please keep sharing with family and friends!
Our kids' beloved teachers + support staff - Catherine, Cori, Dulce, Kiimia, and Tina - were furloughed after the Purple School temporarily closed in mid March. With unemployment applications and stimulus checks still pending, help from school families would go a long way to show our appreciation and love. These five have shown their ongoing dedication to our families with Fun Fridays, Show & Shares, storytime, and blog lessons and videos.
Our fundraiser is an opportunity for Evolve CommUnity families to give back if they are able. While many of us can't pay full tuition, we'd still like to do something to help and show we care.
Your love donations will be evenly distributed among these five staff. We hope to help them bridge the gap during this difficult time. We are hoping to collect these gifts over the next 1-2 weeks to have an immediate impact.
Maybe this is not a good time. Maybe you've already contributed in other ways or donated directly. Could you share this with extended family or others who love your little ones?
