Our beloved friend Eric Burns, a devoted husband and father of two young children, was recently diagnosed with a tumor on his brain. As he begins the fight of his life, we’re rallying to support his family through the storm. On Monday, September 29th, Eric was brought to the Hudson Hospital after experiencing difficulty in making decisions and challenges with language. The Hudson Hospital ordered an MRI and CT scan where they soon discovered a sizable mass on his brain along with substantial brain swelling. A biopsy was scheduled to be done on Wednesday, October 1st at Regions Hospital, but after a team of doctors reviewed Eric’s case, it was determined that they needed to promptly remove the mass as they suspect the tumor to be an aggressive and advanced form of brain cancer. Eric is scheduled to have surgery on Friday, October 3rd to remove the tumor. Pending surgery, a treatment plan will be established and the long road to recovery will start.

Due to all the unknowns regarding when Eric will be able to return to work, along with the financial strain of mounting medical bills, we are hoping to provide financial support to help offset some of medical expenses and the monthly bills.
