I'm Breanna, and I want to share the heartbreaking situation that my brother, Dale, and his family are currently facing.

For the past 13 years, he has lived in his home located in Hudson, FL. Unfortunately, the recent devastation caused by Hurricane Helene resulted in catastrophic flooding in his neighborhood near Hudson Beach, with water levels over 6 feet. This has led to the complete destruction of his home and all their possessions.

I am reaching out for your support as they begin the difficult process of rebuilding their lives. You might assume that insurance would help, but sadly, Dale is a renter, and those living west of US 19 are unable to obtain renters insurance—despite his numerous attempts.

His wife, Jessica, is a waitress, but the restaurant where she works has shut down due to the flooding, leaving her temporarily without an income.

Dale owns a lawn care company and unfortunately does not have paid time off to deal with these urgent issues without costing him a loss of income.

The funds will go directly towards helping them rebuild their home and replacing everything inside.

They are in dire need of everything, and when I say they have lost it all, I truly mean it. We are still figuring out the best path forward, but we are determined to find a way.
