Support Combat Veterans Motorcycle Assoc. 28-6

Last year, as a result of our first organized fund raiser, we raised over $10,000, of which every dollar was donated to the daughter of a local veteran, who is in stage 4 of cancer. We are very proud for what we accomplished.
This year, we have chosen the South Alabama Veteran’s Council (SAVC) as the recipient for our annual fund raiser. The SAVC is involved in practically every veteran related issue in Mobile and Baldwin counties. From building ramps at the homes of disabled veteran, to helping purchase a van for local Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Chapters to transport disabled veterans to their doctor’s appointments. From raising funds to cover the cost of burying a homeless veteran, to helping support local Veteran’s Day Activities; and helping support High School JROTC programs for our Nation’s future military men and women. Everything veteran related!
This past year, the SAVC donated over two-thousand dollars to eight different local veterans initiatives. Unfortunately, the SAVC typically covers the costs of these projects by “passing the hat” to raise donations during their monthly meetings. Our goal is to raise as much funding for the SAVC as possible, to support, help sustain, and fund the multitude of initiatives in which they are involved. With your financial support, more veterans will be assisted and our efforts to raise awareness, funding, and support for the homeless and disabled veterans along the Gulf Coast will be taken to task.
