CANCER…….The frightening word no one ever wants to hear. Unfortunately for my niece Cheyenne, she received those dreaded words on Christmas Day 2023. Cheyenne’s journey with metastatic stage 3 cervical cancer is undoubtedly one of the toughest battles she has ever faced. However, her strength and determination shine through as she confronts this formidable opponent head-on. Despite the overwhelming challenges that lie ahead, Cheyenne remains unwavering in her faith and committed to pursuing her dreams. As she embarks on a grueling treatment plan consisting of six weeks of chemotherapy and 30 rounds of radiation, all at the same time. Cheyenne refuses to let her illness define her. She continues to work tirelessly, attending night classes to further her education and secure a better future for herself and her beloved son, Owen. As a single mother, Cheyenne's love and dedication to her child never waver, even in the face of such adversity. Cheyenne is a God loving strong woman that plans to continue to work at the same time in taking night classes to finish pursuing her dream of becoming a teacher. Cheyenne is currently employed at Jane Ball Elementary as a paraprofessional where she went as a kiddo. Cheyenne's resilience and determination are truly inspiring, but she cannot face this battle alone. She needs the support and encouragement of those around her to help lift her up during this difficult time.
