Support Brooklyn Grace's Fight for Life

Update on Brooklyn, they have started, Hospice or Comfort Care measures to make her final hours or days pain free. She continues to have seizures and are giving her medication for that. If they suspect that she is experiencing any pain, they will treat accordingly. The Arkansas Children's Hospital have gone above and beyond to accommodate Chris, Shawntah, and Elizabeth.....she finally got to meet her sister for the first time yesterday, it was a blessing.

Hi my name is Kari Risley, and I am trying to start a GoFundMe page for my stepson and daughter-in-law, and their critically ill newborn, Brooklyn Grace. Brooklyn is currently in the NICU at Children's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was a twin, however, her brother, Noah, passed inutero, 4 weeks prior to their birth on June 15, 2024. Brooklyn suffers from hydrocephalus and holoprosencephaly. She has had one brain surgery, and is now experiencing seizures, heart rate deceleration, and periods of apnea. Her parents and 2 year old sister are living in the Ronald McDonald House close to the hospital. They have no family there to help with Elizabeth, and Chris has not been able to work. So any little bit of help would be greatly appreciated, and if you can't help monetarily, please pray.....this baby and family are fighting everyday to keep her alive.
