With the increase awareness in the importance of the Black Lives Matter movement, there is more awareness that Black Dad's Matter. People often forget that daddy is worried too! Daddy want's the best outcome too! Daddy want's mom and baby to be OK!
Homebirth with a Midwife is one way we know Black fathers are encouraged to be fully engaged with the birth of their baby. We also know that having a Homebirth is expensive and because of these cost Black couples do not get the same individual choices that others do around birth options largely due to cost.
Let's not make this an issue for Reggie, he has supported his partner Loren from the very beginning and wants the best for her and their new son on this journey to becoming a family of three!
