Support Autism Awareness: Gift a Book

Tax deductible
UPDATE: THANK YOU!! After reaching our initial goal of raising $510 to gift the book to 17 families, let's strive for an even greater impact - our new goal is to gift "The Autism Acceptance Book" to 100 different families!

Support Families at the New York City Autism Walk!

On September 29th, we're joining the New York City Autism Walk (as Autism Awareness Princeton, a branch of Love Without Borders) to raise awareness and support for the autism community. Thanks to previous fundraising efforts, we've already secured train tickets, bus fees, and lunch expenses for the event. Now, we're focusing on an additional way to support our families.

As we've prepared for this event, we've discovered that parents are eager for more knowledge about autism. In response, we're thrilled to announce that we've invited the author, Ellen Sabin, to attend the walk and do a reading!

Our current goal is to provide a copy of "The Autism Acceptance Book: Being a Friend to Someone with Autism" by Ellen Sabin to families participating in the walk. These gifts, valued at $17 each, will offer a valuable resource and a token of appreciation for their journey.

Why is this book important?
This interactive, educational book introduces children (ages 6-12) to the challenges faced by people with autism spectrum disorder. It supports readers in appreciating and respecting differences, offering educational information, conversation starters, and engaging exercises.

Without this book, what would be missing from this event?
While the walk itself is meaningful, this book provides a lasting resource for families. It extends the impact of the event, offering a tool for ongoing education and discussion within families, helping to foster understanding and acceptance in our community.

Our goal is to raise enough funds to give these books to 17 families, making the day even more impactful. Every dollar you contribute goes directly toward this goal. Whether you can give a little or a lot, your support will make a difference!

Without your help, we cannot fulfill the wishes of parents of children with autism who are seeking more knowledge and resources. Your contribution will directly support these families in their journey of understanding and acceptance.

Please consider donating today to help us reach our goal of providing books to 17 families and bring smiles to those who inspire us every day.

Thank you for your generosity!
