Update: April 24th. A celebration of life honoring Anne Marie Dettinger Beedle will be held on May 16th from 3-7pm at Beedle’s Bar & Restaurant.
Anne Marie Dettinger Beedle, beloved wife, mother, and co-owner of Beedle’s Bar and Restaurant, tragically passed away on April 16, 2026, at Gundersen Medical Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

Anne Marie was born on April 14, 1968, to Mary Jean Raymond and Gerald “Gub” Dettinger. She grew up in Saint Paul, Minnesota, where she graduated from Derham Hall High School, and later earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire.

Known to many as Annie, she was a world class ballerina, was an accomplished entrepreneur, and a vibrant member of her community. She was deeply devoted to her faith and an active member of her church. Annie also supported charitable efforts and ministries around the world.

Annie owned and managed numerous businesses throughout her life, bringing passion and dedication to everything she pursued. She had a gift for connecting with people and creating spaces filled with warmth, joy, and hospitality.

In 2004, Annie married the love of her life, Brad Beedle. Together they built a life centered on family, faith, and community, and were blessed with two sons, Max and Jack. In 2006, they moved to Galesville, Wisconsin, where they founded Beedle’s Bar and Restaurant, a place that reflected Annie’s love of bringing people together.

A beloved wife, mother, soon-to-be grandmother, community volunteer, and friend, Annie loved to sing, dance, and entertain. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, reading, and spending time with those she loved. Above all, she loved the Lord Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Mary Dettinger, and her sister, Marilyn Pushcar.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Brad; her sons, Jack Beedle and Maximilian (Alexis) Beedle; her brothers, Chris (Carol), Tom (Sally), and Jerry (Carrie); her sister, Dawn; and countless cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will carry her memory forward.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on May 16, 2026, at Beedle’s Bar and Restaurant, W24966 State Road 54, Galesville, WI 54630.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the compassionate care provided by the staff at Gundersen Medical Center, and for the outpouring of love and support from family, friends, and the community during this difficult time.

Update: April 17th. We have a heartbreaking update to share with the community.

Anne passed away yesterday, April 16.

On behalf of Anne’s entire family, we want to thank everyone for the outpouring of prayers, love, and support over these past days as we’ve navigated this tragedy. It has meant more than we can express.

We are devastated beyond words and heartbroken by this loss. Anne will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. We take comfort in knowing she is at peace and in heaven with God.

She lived her life with integrity, passion, drive, and a deep love for her family, friends, and the restaurant community she poured so much into.

Being a hostess was second nature to Anne. She was the definition of hospitable, always taking care of everyone around her, no matter where she was. She did it with a smile on her face and often, a dance move. In her honor, we encourage you to show kindness and hospitality to someone around you.

Every message, prayer, and story shared about Anne is a reflection of how truly loved she is and the lasting impact she had on so many.

We are incredibly grateful for your continued support as we navigate the difficult days and next steps ahead.

Please keep her husband Brad, son Max, daughter-in-law Alexis, and her son Jack in your prayers.

Original Post:
Last Friday night, Anne suffered a devastating fall down a concrete staircase in a sudden, tragic accident. She sustained a severe traumatic brain injury and was rushed into emergency surgery to relieve dangerous swelling in her brain. It was a life-saving procedure, and since then, she has been in the ICU fighting to recover.

Over the past few days, we’ve seen small but meaningful signs of progress. While these are encouraging moments, her condition remains very serious, and the road ahead is long.

If you know Anne, you know how special she is. She is strong, full of life, vibrant, and deeply loved by her family, friends and restaurant community at Beedle’s Restaurant.

She’s a devoted wife, an incredible mother, sister, cousin, aunt, and an amazing friend to so many. She is the kind of person who shows up for others without hesitation, and now she needs all of us to show up for her.

As her family stays by her side, the financial impact is already beginning to add up quickly with medical bills, extended hospital care, travel, hotel stays, and time away from work. We want Brad, Max, and Jack to be able to focus fully on her recovery without the added burden of financial stress.

We are asking for your support, whether that’s through a donation, sharing this page, or keeping Anne in your prayers. Every bit helps, and it means more to our family than we can express. We believe in the power of prayer and God’s ability to miraculously heal Anne and ask everyone to join us in claiming this.

We will continue to share updates as we learn more. Thank you for surrounding Anne and our family with prayer, love, strength, and support during this incredibly difficult time.
