Support and Love for the Loss of Baby Landon

Donation protected
On Jan 22nd, 2020, my sister Natalie and her husband Jarrod Schneider who are first time parents, suddenly lost their 2-week-old son Landon Schneider to a devastating disease found in premature babies. Born at 27 weeks gestation, Landon fought hard for his life. He underwent major emergency surgery in an attempt to save his life, but his little body was underdeveloped, and he passed away in the arms of his mother and father.  As most of you may know, Landon was born a twin to his brother Haden, who is currently still in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) as he continues to fight and grow stronger each day.

Natalie was put on strict bedrest at 20 weeks pregnant and hospitalized shortly after, until the emergency birth of her twins. Due to these complicated circumstances, Natalie has been unable to return to the job she loves so much, leaving her family to solely rely on one income. Her main priority at this time caring for baby Haden in the NICU. There are no words to express the immense pain and devastation my family has experienced losing sweet baby Landon. While Natalie and Jarrod grieve the loss of their son, they continue to stay strong for baby Haden and look forward to the day they can bring him home.

I created this fundraiser for my sister and brother-in-law to help ease any financial concerns they may have as they mourn the loss of their son. The last thing they should have to worry about are the impending hospital expenses and loss of wages associated with having two babies in the NICU and lengthy hospital stays. All donated funds will be used to help cover medical expenses associated with this tragedy (2 hospitals, ambulance transport, X-Rays, major surgeries, etc.) as well as the continued care of Haden in the NICU.

Please continue to keep Natalie, Jarrod and baby Haden in your thoughts and prayers as they continue on their journey to health and healing. Though Landon was physically with us on earth for a short time, he has left an imprint on our hearts that will last forever. My family and I are humbled by the love we have received throughout Natalie’s pregnancy and the loss of baby Landon.

Thank you all for your kindness and generosity. God bless.
