To receive treatment, Al must travel to medical facilities in Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, and Spokane—over two hours away. His aggressive seven-month treatment plan includes daily chemotherapy and radiation sessions, requiring him to endure grueling five-hour round trips.

 

The side effects of treatment, combined with the demanding schedule of appointments, have made it impossible for Al to work and provide supplemental income during this time. The physical, emotional, and financial toll of this journey is immense.

 

With a 55% chance that this rigorous treatment plan will succeed and potentially spare him from surgery, Al remains steadfast in his determination to fight.
