Two hopeful dads. One dream. A future filled with love.

Hi, we’re Adrian and Rob—a married couple living just outside Atlanta with our two lovable pups, Bullet and Arlo. We’ve been together since 2017, married since 2019, and now we’re ready for the most important chapter of our lives: becoming dads.

Becoming parents has never been just a wish for us—it’s been a calling. It’s the dream we return to during quiet Sunday mornings, long walks with our dogs, and every time we hold our nephews or celebrate another milestone with our family. We know in our bones that we’re meant to be fathers.

After years of love, growth, and building a home that feels like us, we’re finally ready. We’ve just settled into our forever home—a place that buzzes with life, laughter, and the clucking of chickens in our backyard coop. We host weekly family dinners, tend to our garden, and dream about the day we’ll bring little ones into the heart of it all.

Parenthood, to us, is about showing up—every day—with open hearts, listening ears, and boundless love. It’s about bedtime stories, Saturday morning pancakes, spontaneous dance parties, skinned knees, art projects on the fridge, and never missing a chance to say “I’m proud of you.”

It means passing on traditions, creating new ones, and giving our child(ren) a foundation of joy, curiosity, and unconditional support. We dream of raising a child who knows they’re safe, loved, and celebrated—every step of the way. We’ve learned so much from being uncles, from watching our siblings parent with care and love, and from reflecting on the lessons we want to pass on from our own upbringings. We’re excited to take all of that and build a parenting journey that is uniquely ours.

Why Adoption?

As a same-sex couple, adoption is a beautiful, affirming way for us to grow our family. It's an act rooted in love, intention, and mutual hope—for us as future parents, and for the child we’re dreaming of. Adoption gives us the opportunity to open our hearts and our home to a child who needs love, stability, and belonging. It is a path we are pursuing with care, patience, and deep respect for the process and all those involved.

Where We Are in the Process

We are in the early stages of our adoption journey—researching agencies, attending information sessions, and connecting with others who’ve walked this path before us. We are in the process of aligning with an agency, and are committed to doing everything it takes to build our family through adoption.

But we also know that adoption is not only emotionally and spiritually significant—it’s financially challenging. Agency fees, legal support, counseling services, travel, and other adoption-related expenses can exceed $50,000 or more.

Who We Are

Adrian is a public health consultant and advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and health equity. He serves on nonprofit boards and has a deep love for music and photography. Rob is an operations and events manager who enjoys travel, tennis, pickleball, music festivals, finding the best new food spot, and quiet weekends at home. We’re proud dog dads, dedicated uncles, and backyard gardeners and chicken tenders. We love deeply, laugh often, and are ready to give our all to our future child(ren).
