Support Abdelrahman's UC Santa Cruz Journey

Hello everyone,

My name is Abdelrahman Othman, and I’m a student at STEM October School for Boys in 6th of October City. I’m passionate about physics, engineering, and technology.

I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been accepted to the UC Santa Cruz Science Internship Program (UCSC SIP)—an exceptionally selective research program that chose only 79 international students from more than 3,200 applicants. Through UCSC SIP, I’ll work on an original research project under the guidance of an incredible mentor, giving me experience and skills that will be invaluable for my future studies and career.

Thanks to a generous scholarship, my tuition and housing (about $11,500) are fully covered. I still need help with a few remaining expenses—most notably round-trip airfare, which is about $1,025.
