Support a Trucker's Grieving Family

I am a Truck driver, have been for may years now. This week I've been faced with the Trucker's worst nightmare. My 4 month old granddaughter passed away from "SIDS" While my wife and I were on route 3,000 miles away.

I put my wife on the closest next flight home, to be with our daughter to help her through this devastating tragedy. I am currently making my way home with the truck and load that I signed to deliver. I should be able to make it back just in time for the funeral.

My daughter and her husband have been struggling to make ends meet as is, and I am so proud that they have been standing on their own feet for a while. I raised my children to never ask for a handout and to earn everything that they have. I am afraid that this sudden tragedy may overwhelm them. My wife and I have helped some but it is a bit much for even us right now.
