Freelance life is difficult.
I've been busy though. I've been busy bouncing between TWO contracted graphic novel projects. Yes, I've been paid but the next paycheck won't reach me until July or August. By then I will have lost my home, my vehicle and this bright shiny thing I'm typing on. However, I'm not sitting still. I've emailed CVs to as many employers I could find on LinkedIn, NM Jobs, and Indeed. I've even considered going back to Amazon, or picking up where my wife left off with food deliveries.
But that takes away from my work at home. I've been averaging TWO fully inked and colored pages a day, if I'm lucky I'll knock out a third. Like any other artist, I get burnout. The burnout is very much real. What has been helping me though are my frequent trips to Planet Fitness. Seems to be working.
Once again, I don't ask for much. I only ask that you consider a donation, a buck or two. I realize your generosity is expensive these days and appreciate anything and everything.
Costs breakdown:
$150 to cover bank overdrafts (stupid subscriptions)
$150 fuel
$150 Gas & Electric
$150 Groceries
Six hunnid bucks don't cover much, but right now it's all I need to cover some costs until I get another paycheck from clients and/or publishers.
Thank you (again).
