Myself and some friends are attempting our first ever 5/4/48 run. This is to raise as much money as possible for the Joey Morris fund. As you will all be aware Joey is fighting the battle of his life at the minute with late stage cancer and you will all agree he is a much loved character on the Salford scene, it would be amazing to raise as much money as possible for Joey and his family at this awful time in their lives and to show just how much Joey is loved around Salford and Manchester. He is certainly someone whom I have looked up to in my life and it’s only fitting I try to honour him in what ever way I can. 

The challenge consists of running 5km every 4 hours on the hour for 48 hours totalling 60km run in 2 days with very little time to sleep and eat in between runs.
