Sunday T-Dance

Are you interested in joining a group whose motto is ‘mending the rainbow with tea, cake, queer history and dance!’? 

We are excited to propose the revival of a cherished tradition, the Sunday Tea Dance, blending the elegance of traditional ballroom with the edge of modern club culture. 

This event aims to bridge the generational gap within the LGBTQ+ community, fostering a connection between past and present while celebrating the diversity and resilience of queer histories.

We need to raise funds to ensure there is a community interest. This significantly strengthens any applications for funding. If you are able, we would really appreciate the support. 

£10 will pay it forward for someone to come along and mix'n' mingle. #mendtherainbow

£15 will pay for the tea provided by Bird&Blend. From this we'll provide our house blend T-Dah! and a genre specific iced tea and mocktail

£20 will cover the cost of buying a cakes and genre specific deserts... and we want a get few 

£50 will pay for a dance instructor for an hour's lesson 

£100 will pay for a dressing up box 

£200 will pay for a DJ for the evening

£500 will cover the cost of key personnel to be paid a living wage

£1000 will cover the cost of venue hire and equipment
