ABOUT US
As the founder and director of Ravens Hope, my greatest desire is for the Ravens to know that there is no obstacle or challenge that can’t be conquered.
In 2013, when I started this journey to empower the women of Cambodia, we were faced with a few challenges. I was told that it would be impossible to bring a group of young ladies to America and it would be better to create an empowerment program within their country. Then their visas were denied several times. But I refused to take ‘no’ for an answer. In fact, I believe: “No doesn’t always mean ‘no’ --it means, ‘Ask again; ask somebody else; or ask differently,’” so that is exactly what I did. And in 2013, the visas of 9 young ladies from Cambodia were approved to come to the USA and every year we bring young female leaders to America to be a part of our transformative leadership program.
So you can see that I don’t take ‘no’ easily. When I heard that NO woman my age had ever run up the American Ninja Warrior’s “Warp Wall,” I became determined to do so --it was just another obstacle. I began to train with Tre Dortch, “the Muscle.” And because Ravens and Cambodia are a part of my back story, I invited Tre to travel to Cambodia with me to meet our Ravens and to talk with the US Embassy about partnering with Ravens Hope to bring the Ninjas to Cambodia to do an obstacle exhibition. The US Embassy gladly accepted.
In Cambodia, Tre had the privilege of meeting the 14 Ravens who will be coming to join our 2018 program.
After meeting our Ravens, Tre shared that his ability to overcome both physical and mental obstacles has afforded him the opportunity to inspire and touch the lives of many. He decided he wanted to reach beyond the borders of America and he knew his fellow Ninja family would desire the same. So he and 14 other Ninjas have decided to partner with Ravens Hope to help assure that our Ravens get the funds they will need to bring our Ravens to America.
I have had the privilege of interviewing 14 young ladies who have just graduated from our Raven’s Hope Cambodia program. These ladies have now applied to our international leadership program here in America. They are all strong, courageous, love God and have overcome many obstacles. Out of the 14, there isn’t one that I could turn away. These girls are all AMAZING!!

I am so honored to be part of their journey, but this part is always very difficult. So I am soliciting your prayers and asking you to consider helping financially by giving a donation or sponsoring a Raven. Raven’s Hope International is a US-based ministry that partners with Ravens Hope Cambodia, an approved 501c3 -- all donations are tax deductible. Any amount is greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance and please keep our Ravens in your prayers!
Sincerely grateful,
Karen Robinson
