Summer Festival 2025

We are so looking forward to gathering at Newbridge College for our Summer Festival from August 7th-10th. This year the festival will cost Youth 2000 €55,000 and we still need to raise €20,000. Can you help?

Hundreds of young people have already registered to attend to learn more about their faith, and meet other young people at this event which is the highlight of our annual calendar.

This retreat, like all of our events, will be 'donation only' for our young attendees! This is a critical part of our mission of leading young people to the Heart of the Church.

Although it is donation only for attendees, it is not free to run. This year the festival will cost Youth 2000 €55,000.

Thank you so much to everyone who has already contributed by other channels, but we still need to raise another €20,000 to reach our target to cover the costs of this years festival.

For this, we provide a full weekend of talks and activities, travel to and from the festival on one of the FREE BUSES from across the country, simple accommodation on site all meals. It also covers the provision of the supplies, equipment and health & safety cover necessary to run an event like this.

Your donation can be the reason why a young person who could not otherwise attend, will have a real encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist, and have their life transformed! Please give what you can so that events like this one can remain open to everyone, regardless of their financial situation.

Youth 2000 is a Catholic youth organisation that runs lively faith festivals, retreats, prayer groups and other events for young people aged 16-35 across the island of Ireland. Youth 2000 is a registered charity and relies completely on donations and extensive fundraising to carry out its mission.
